This web app is made to visiualize different Pathfinding & Maze Generation Algorithms. The source code for this project is available at this Github repo. The project is inspired from Clément Mihailescu project .
This is a short tutorial to walk you through using the app, but you can skip it if you want :)
A Wall Block: Impenetrable for pathfinding algorithms
A Weight Block: A move to this block costs 20 units rather than 1 like the empty cells
A Visited Block: A block that the pathfinding algorithm searched
A Path Block: A block that is part of the found path from start to end
Start icon: The starting point of the pathfinding algorithm
End icon: The target point of the pathfinding algorithm
You can change the start and end positions by simply dragging and dropping the icons
You can place/remove walls by choosing a grid cell or draging over a group of them
You can place/remove weights by activating the weight mode by pressing w and then choosing a grid cell or draging over a group of them
You can also place both walls and weights
You can choose the algorithm that you want to visiualize from here and then press the green visiualize button
You can choose the generator that you want to visiualize from here and it will automatically start
And that is it 🥳!! You can start experimentting on your own now. :)
